How it works in detail
DCP is a non-profit organization that uses democratic decision-making to offer film financing awards to our user community. Filmmakers from all walks of life can apply for and submit film projects to active awards offered on the DCP platform. These include financing opportunities and support from DCP’s network.
Once submitted, our user community reviews and rates each project, providing network intelligence that determine the most deserving to receive these opportunities. Finalists and awardees of awards are matched with DCP’s robust network of industry partners to assist these aspiring filmmakers to create their films and advance their careers.
Our platform rewards both film submitters and community participants: filmmakers with funding awards and participating community members with TALNT tokens which can be used to power future submissions or “staked” on the platform. The broader point: stay involved! There are many ways to be rewarded within the DCP community.
Community Voting
The DCP community will decide which project is more deserving of support for each project award. Recipients may receive mentorship, funding, and/or backing from our donors and ever expanding network.
Funding & Support
Top-rated creative ideas may earn support from DCP community and receive funding. Votes are weighted and delivered with attention.
TALNT Token
Our system rewards users with TALNT tokens for their contributions and participation in the ecosystem, fostering ongoing engagement and evolution.
Reputation
Users earn reputation through active participation on the DCP platform. As a user gains more reputation, their voting impact also increases allowing their voice to hold more weight and potentially earn greater rewards.
